    Tony was appointed as Managing Director on 1 November 2019. Tony has extensive experience in the energy sector, including prior roles as CEO of Endeavour Energy and CEO of United Energy and Multinet Gas.

    Tony has also held senior executive roles at General Electric, ATCO Group and Verve Energy, spanning strategy, business development, commercial, operations, major projects and joint ventures in Australia and internationally.

    Mark was appointed as Chief Financial Officer on 9 December 2019. Mark has been with AusNet Services since 2010, in various senior finance leadership roles, most recently as General Manager of Finance for our regulated business and since September 2019 as Acting CFO. 

    Prior to joining AusNet Services, Mark held senior corporate accounting and audit and assurance roles at Telstra and KPMG. Mark is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and a former member of the CAANZ Victorian Corporate Advisory Panel.

    Alistair Parker, Executive General Manager - Regulated Energy Services

    Alistair leads the Regulated Energy Services portfolio of businesses including three regulated energy networks, regulatory strategy, asset management, metering and service delivery. In this role, Alistair leads the transformation to ready the regulated business to meet the rapidly changing needs of customers over the next decade. He draws on more than 30 years' experience in the energy industry in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia.

    Alistair's previous roles at AusNet Services include General Manager - Asset Management and Director, Regulation and Network Strategy. Before moving to Australia, Alistair spent 15 years with National Grid, UK, initially as an engineer and then moved into commercial roles. In 2000, he became a consultant with Ernst & Young in New Zealand before moving to Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Australia, ultimately as Melbourne Energy Economics Practice Leader.

    Prue joined AusNet Services as a member of the executive team on 1 April 2019. She leads the newly created Operations and Services Division which brings together field operations and service delivery to our customers, including responsibility for the Delivery and Planning, Performance and Operations teams.

    Chad was appointed Executive General Manager - Commercial Energy Services (now Mondo) following three years as General Manager - Strategy and Business Development. In his role, Chad is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of the Commercial Energy Services business which brings unregulated infrastructure services, emerging energy markets, utility and metering services and asset intelligence services under one portfolio.

    Chad's 15 years' experience in the energy industry provides him with a deep understanding of the industry's strategic, commercial and regulatory drivers which are essential in assessing the immediate and long term growth opportunities for AusNet Services. In his previous role, Chad led a range of strategic transformational initiatives including implementing the company-wide enterprise planning system, process improvements and acquisitions - the most notable being the Mortlake Terminal Station. Before moving into the energy industry, Chad started his career as an accountant with Arthur Anderson and Motorola Australia & New Zealand.

  • Jon D’Sylva - Executive General Manager Strategy & Transformation

    Jon is responsible for managing the development and implementation of AusNet Services’ corporate strategy, business planning and transformation.

    Jon previously held the position of General Manager, Strategy and Insights with Endeavour Energy. In this role he led a successful program of organisational transformation of Endeavour’s financial performance, business culture and growth in its unregulated business, and also had oversight for Endeavour’s ambitious strategy of digitalisation, data and analytics.

    Prior to joining AusNet Services, Jon built a track record of achievement in leading strategy, business development and organisational-wide transformation programs, including with United Energy and Synergy. He will bring strong capability to AusNet Services to drive the next stage of our organisational transformation program, while also providing leadership for the continued execution of our Energising Futures strategy.

    Prior to joining AusNet Services in 2009, Geraldine worked at BlueScope Steel for almost nine years, holding senior HR leadership roles, including General Manager Human Resources for BlueScope's Australian Coated and Industrial Markets. Her background also incorporates various senior executive and leadership roles in the public health sector and local government.
    Geraldine’s role incorporates human resources, health, safety environment and quality and corporate affairs functions for the Group, known as the People, Safety & Corporate Affairs division.

    Kent is Acting Executive General Manager, Governance whilst maintaining his principle role as Head of Internal Audit. In this role, Kent is responsible for the legal, company secretarial, risk management, and internal audit functions for AusNet Services.

    Kent was appointed the Acting Executive General Manager, Governance in October 2019. He has extensive experience in the energy industry in governance, audit, information technology and financial accounting. Prior to joining AusNet Services Kent previously worked as an IT Operations Manager for TXU Australia. He is a member of the Institute of internal Auditors Australia (IIA).

  • Keith Hopkins - Executive General Manager Technology (Acting)

    Keith joined AusNet Services as General Manager Technology Products and Services and Cyber Security in 2019 and was appointed as EGM Technology (Acting) in April 2020. In this role, Keith leads the Digital technology, innovation and telecommunications functions of the business. This includes the provision of information systems, network operations systems, cyber security and telecommunications for the AusNet Services Group’s three network businesses and its commercial energy services business, Mondo.

    Keith has over 30 years’ experience in the information technology industry with roles both locally and globally across multiple industry channels. Prior to joining AusNet Services, Keith held senior technology positions with Coles, ANZ and Shell where he was responsible for strategy and planning, technology transformation, program and project management along with the management of mission critical information systems and functional experience across Retail, Banking, Supply Chain, Finance and Human Resources.
